"Krishnasamy College of Education for Women", the long Cherished ambition of five persons who are philanthropically bent, educationally inclined and ready to lay a strong and solid foundation to bring about a revolutionary change in the field of education, started shining in the horizon of Indian Education when the trust was registered on 10.03.2005. The trust obtained No Objection Certificate from Tamilnadu Government on 14.11.2005 to start a college of Education from 2006-2007 when it made a request to the government of Tamilnadu to start a college of Education and a Teacher Training Institute in the names of ‘"Krishnasamy College of Education for Women (B.Ed)’ and ‘"Krishnasamy College of Education for Women (D.T.Ed)’

Krishnasamy College of Education for Women and New Ideal Teacher Education Academy are situated in the outskirts of Trichy Corporation and in the middle of both the National Highways, ‘Trichy-Viralimallai-Madurai’ and ‘Trichy-Dindugal-Madurai’. With panchayat approval the construction of the spacious two storeyed building, each floor with an approximate area of 25000 sq.ft had started in the Trust lands spreading about seven in Chettiyuranipatti (16 kms from Trichy Central Bus stand) Village. First floor with an area of 25,000 sqft will be completed this year. 15,000 sq.ft of the building is ready for use now itself. Though situated near the city of Trichy, the Campus of the institutions has noise free, calm and serene atmosphere and unpolluted air and water. Though near the city it is far away from its disturbance. Both the Institutions are co-educational.
